During our trip we spent an afternoon in Lake Arrowhead Village. It was like a cross between Old Sacramento and the shops in Mendocino. Very cute. And it was all decorated for Christmas.

The award for the Coolest Dog EVER goes to this dog. He is a Cadaver Retriever and he owns his own sunglasses.
The award for the Cutest Kids EVER goes to Zachary and Katelyn.

And the award for the Best Chocolate Factory EVER goes to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Sorry Charlie...(Bucket). Small joke.

we used to go to mendo every summer for 10 days as a family from middle school until we all went off the college. my parents rented a house on a cliff overlooking the ocean and we just hung out all week reading and playing games. it was so much fun and very relaxing. one day of the trip we would always go into mendo to eat lunch, shop, and hang out. so much fun:-)
